Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s This Is the End puts a stack of Hollywood comedy names — playing exaggerated versions of themselves — through the apocalypse at James Franco’s house. Franco, Rogen, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson and company turn the end of the world into another favourite of this reviewer’s Infantile category: silly, rude and proper easy relaxed viewing. 5/5 for me.
Franco and McBride’s earlier fantasy Your Highness (2011) even gets a mention: Rogen’s Seth tells them not to make Your Highness 2. Watch that one first if you fancy the double bill.
